Held Counselling Space is a safe space to explore the depths and nuance of personhood, whether that is navigating grief, anxiety, people-pleasing, feeling lost or disconnected, relational challenges, stress, trauma or low self-worth. Together, we are curious, we are kind to whatever surfaces. With openness and discernment, we welcome wisdom and befriend our multi-faceted selves. A soft place to hold the light and the dark with care and an invitation to commune with your deep Self.
For over five years, Masters-qualified, PACFA Clinical Counsellor Abi has worked with individuals and couples as a grief specialist, and with an Internal Family Systems-informed lens. She believes holding space begins with a grounded sense of presence. As such, her counselling practices are guided by authenticity, curiosity and empathy; honouring you as the expert in your life. With safety, trust and connection, her heartfelt intention is to listen to understand, and help you navigate towards deeper self-understanding, which can make room for healing.
Working extensively with culturally diverse communities across education and therapeutic settings has provided Abi with a foundation grounded in creative and mindful-based practices, while integrating Eastern philosophies. You are welcome here; it’s an honour to be present with you and your human experience – however that looks and feels.
Abi offers individual and couples counselling, women’s circles and wellbeing retreats at Healing Arts Studio (Thursdays), along the Fleurieu coast, in the Adelaide hills and online.
